The Light Leaks founder, Kim Hoyos moderated a panel at the 2024 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.

On October 21st, 2023, the Light Leaks co-hosted a Women in Film Mix & Mingle Event at the Proof of Concept festival powered by American Cinematheque in Culver City, CA.  

On March 25 2023, The Light Leaks hosted an event in Glendale, California that brought together our creative community for a panel and networking session called “Creating Your Own Spotlight”. The event was electric and captured the spirit of what we hope to accomplish as a small business - our creative community at work - supporting each other and inspiring each other.

Real Resolutions was our first event of 2020! This event was in collaboration with Sami Main, certified life coach, and focused on goal setting, identifying blocks, and visualizing your authentic self. The second half was a vision board workshop led by our founder, Kim Hoyos.

On March 23, 2019, we hosted "Glow Up: a Panel and Networking Event on How to Build Your Creative Future". Featuring Adya Beasley, Amanda Cowper, Chelsea Pineda, and Jazzmyn Coker as panelists and our founder, Kim Hoyos as a moderated- attendees witnessed an immerse panel that tackled imposter syndrome, finding your creative beat and life transitions.
