Comida Y Community: Recap

Hey hi hello!

Last week we had the amazing honor of hosting our first out of NYC event in... sunny ATL! We hosted an intimate group of Latinx Creatives (+ supporters of the community) at Muchacho ATL where the conversation (and mimosas) flowed.

Creativity has no geographic limitations. It’s not restricted to job field, gender, background, or any other identifying factor that we as individuals can sometimes use to limit ourselves. That’s one of the key ways the Light Leaks has been able to thrive and grow across the internet and translate into offline events.

Under the Atlanta sun, sitting outside on a patio, and chatting about art and inspiration we truly felt the magic of connection and community. Comida Y Community was a success because by our metrics- any event where people show up with honesty, love, and words to share is a win. We’re hoping to head to many more states as the Light Leaks continues to grow (hint: Chicago save the date for October 2019).

Thank you to everyone who came out to Comida Y Community!

Love,

TLL Team
